Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Appropriate encouragement and support is given to all children with specific needs and this usually takes the form of individual or small group activities associated with each child’s requirements.
The school follows the Code of Practice where 5 stages of recommendations are followed. Parents/Carers of children are kept fully informed of all stages and close links are maintained between parents/carers and support services.
The school has access to an Educational Psychologist, a Behavioural Support Teacher, a Learning Support Teacher, the School Health Advisor and an Educational Welfare Officer.
