We supply free fruit and vegetables to children in Class 1 at break times.Older children can bring a healthy snack from home if they wish to.
Elior menus are sent home which give details of the hot meals which can be purchased at the current cost of £2.30. It is a set, 2-course meal. There is also a vegetarian option or baked potato with various fillings or packed lunch available to order. Water is supplied but the children can also bring a drink of juice or squash from home if they wish.
Lunches are preferably ordered and paid for in advance on Mondays, through the school office . Please pay in advance through Parent Pay no cash payments can be accepted. Your child/ren can order their choice of meal for the day from the menu each morning at registration.
Alternatively, your child can bring their own packed lunch with them.
We encourage parents to provide as ‘healthy as possible’ packed lunches and politely request that no sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks are brought to school.
We also request that no glass bottles are brought in.

We encourage all the children to mix and play together and we play traditional playground games with them. There is a set of rules – which the children are all familiar with.

If you are in receipt of certain state benefits your child/ren may be eligible for free school meals. All children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are eligible for the new Universal Infant Free School Meals. For more information please ask us or ring the Education department at County Hall 0844 800 8001.
